Southern Exposure, fronted by North Carolinian singer/songwriter Randy Gambill, produced the first two releases on Get Real Records in 1992. The first was the appropriately titled Raw Material; a cassette only affair, partially recorded while supporting Alison Krauss & Union Station in London.

The second, Small Town was hailled as "the best british bluegrass album ever released". Either way, it got us started!
